tinted paper (yellow, orange, green and blue; flyleaves pink), I+145+Ia ff. (foliated in Hindu-Arabic numerals, Persian forms; catchwords under- and overlined). A single clear nastaʿlīq hand in black; chapter titles and paragraph beginnings rubricated (on yellow tinted paper: substantial sulphurisation of lead contained in the ink), spaces for titels and formulaic expressions reserved, mostly from f. 40v onwards; specifications for the rubricator given in the inner margins, mostly in the fold; final hamzas and maddas mostly indicated, few shaddas. No tables or diagrams; mostly dotted abjad notation, rubricated in the main text (omitted from f. 40v onwards). Dimensions: 190×110 mm (photographer’s slip); 15 lines per page (misṭara imprints). Good condition, slightly damaged, some pages repaired with pasted paper slips, at times affecting the readability (e.g. f. 36), some mold stains. Used to be bound in a Type II binding with fore-edge and envelope flap (cf. imprints on 145v); at present bound in a black leather cover (Gulchīn Maʿānī). Type III binding.
