= Ptolemy, Kitāb Arbaʿ maqālāt fī l-aḥkām (tr. al-Biṭrīq/ʿUmar ibn al-Farrukhān) (A.2.2). — Title: Kutub Baṭlīmūs al-arbaʿa fī l-qaḍāʾ ʿalā dalāʾil al-nujūm (73r). — Index: Book I, 1r-19v; Book II, 21r-39r; Book III, 41r-57r; Book IV, 59r-73r. — A couple of corrections in the margins; no glosses. A statement of collation (19r). This version is different from the one in MS Cairo, Dār al-kutub al-miṣriyya, mīqāt 1054, containing a version corrected by Ḥunayn b. Isḥāq, which may be the one translated by Ibrāhīm b. al-Ṣalt. Therefore, the version in the present manuscript may be the translation by al-Biṭrīq, father of the famous translator Yaḥyā b. al-Biṭrīq (d. c. 200/816), commissioned by ʿUmar b. al-Farrukhān (d. c. 200/816) also transmitted by MS Cairo, Dār al-kutub al-miṣriyya, Khalīl Aghā mīqāt 5 (on this translation, see Ibn al-Nadīm (al-Fihrist, [Cairo]: al-Maktaba al-tijāriyya al-kubrā/al-Maṭbaʿa al-raḥmāniyya, [1929], p. 381).
